Welcome to the Phoenix Pantheon.

I’ve spent the last few days developing this site, to begin sharing a web serial I am hoping to write over the coming months.

The Phoenix Pantheon is the culmination of over a decades worth of notes and scribbles, short stories and character backgrounds for a project which started small and grew into something else entirely. Writing has for a long time been an escape for me as a writer. Rather than trying to tell one story my mind developed a concept, that only came to me in bits and pieces, never quite in the  right order.

The first post is a recently revised short story, which was the original beginning point for this whole project. If you’d like to know a little bit more about it, you can read about it and the original post itself here:

It was only as I revised the first post of the coming Minor Arc ‘Luca’ that I realised I had to go back to the start, and find the connections between the current project and where everything began.

This project is a huge undertaking, and as a writer at the very beginning of my journey, I know that my work will develop along the way. I welcome feedback, and constructive criticism from anyone who takes the time to follow the story as it develops, or from those who pick up later on, if I stick with the project.

My commitment to posting at least once a week is something I really want to hold myself to. I want to honour the story that I know I have within me to tell by telling it as well as I can. If I ever feel that the stress of a deadline impaired the quality of my work, I may choose to post less frequently.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me with this so far, and enjoy Phoenix Pantheon: Red Morning.
